Hedgepig Fruit Gin Liqueurs

Hedgepig (old English name for a hedgehog) is a range of premium English fruit gin liqueurs made with locally grown and foraged fruit from the hedgerows of East Anglia.

We were tasked to brand and design the packaging for the range with a touch of cheerful character. The brand logo features a playful visual twist on a hedgehog’s front profile shape with spines created from hedgerow leaves and the hog’s snout from a cross section of a quince fruit (member of the pear family). We developed a bright appetising colour palette, illustrated fruit patterns and secondary roundel icons to support the identity system across the packaging range and extended brand touch points.
